Work EnvironmentOur facility boasts a collaborative and dynamic workspace that is designed to promote healing and recovery. With a focus on hands-on therapy, the physical therapy team works closely with patients in well-equipped therapy rooms furnished with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology. This is an onsite position with a regular work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, providing a stable working environment where you can build meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of patient conditions and needs, and setting specific treatment goals tailored to individual circumstances.
- Maintaining a patient load of one client per hour to ensure personalized attention and in-depth care.
- Formulating and executing comprehensive treatment plans that utilize diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to optimize each patient's rehabilitation process.
- Delivering cost-effective therapies aimed at improving patients' range of motion, strength, and mobility, while minimizing reliance on medications.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Documenting all patient interactions and progress accurately and efficiently using EMR software, such as WebPT, to facilitate seamless communication among care providers.
- Encouraging and motivating patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive mindset that promotes recovery and rehabilitation.
- Designing and implementing individualized fitness and wellness programs to support long-term health and lifestyle changes.
In this role, you will primarily serve adult patients recovering from orthopedic issues, injuries, or surgeries. Our patient population ranges from athletes looking for rehabilitation to individuals seeking recovery from chronic conditions or post-surgical rehabilitation. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping these patients regain their independence and improve their overall functionality.
QualificationsTo excel in the role of Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, candidates must possess:
- A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- A valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Florida, with no history of disciplinary actions.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and in designing and implementing evidence-based exercise programs.
- Experience using electronic medical records software, specifically WebPT or similar systems.
While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, those with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will be given preference. Familiarity with innovative rehabilitation techniques and a commitment to ongoing professional development will set candidates apart.
