Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and evaluating patients' medical histories to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Consulting with patients to assess their physical conditions, analyzing symptoms and setting individual rehabilitation goals.
  • Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and determining effective treatment strategies to address these issues.
  • Teaching patients safe and effective therapeutic exercise techniques to aid in their recovery.
  • Implementing manual therapy techniques, stimulation, or massage to enhance healing and alleviate pain.
  • Assisting patients in the proper use of mobility devices such as wheelchairs and walkers to foster independence.
  • Documenting patient progress and maintaining meticulous records to ensure continuity of care.
  • Providing education and guidance to both patients and their families regarding in-home treatment options and exercise regimens.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to share relevant information for comprehensive patient evaluations and care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients include individuals of all ages recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for the Physical Therapist position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • At least three years of professional experience focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Proficiency in treating various health conditions, particularly those related to rehabilitation.
  • Competency in using computer systems for documentation and patient management.
Preferred Experience
