The Housekeeping Supervisor at SUNNY INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT LLC is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department within the hotel. This role ensures that all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping employees to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
Conduct regular quality inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Update room status in the hotel management system to ensure accurate and timely information is available for the front desk and management.
Train and mentor housekeeping staff to uphold company standards and enhance team performance.
Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience, addressing any housekeeping-related needs or requests.
Implement and monitor housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management or related field preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping within a hotel environment.
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry.
Experience with quality inspection and room status updating processes.
Required
Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficient in using housekeeping management software and tools.
Ability to perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and guests.
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
