Benefits Specialist with HR Operations

Salary: $95,000 - $140,000 DOE

Location:

Fully Remote

We are partnering with a high growth technology business to appoint an experienced Benefits Specialist into their People function. This is a senior individual contributor role with real ownership; suited to someone who has operated in a standalone environment and enjoys building compliant, scalable and employee‑first benefits and leave programmes.

You will own US benefits and leave end‑to‑end; act as the subject matter expert for the business; and support wider US HR operations in partnership with the Global HR Operations Manager.

We are looking for someone with strong stand‑alone benefits experience from SaaS or similar and HR operations experience.

What You Will Do
  • Own US benefits programmes including medical, dental, vision, 401k and ancillary benefits
  • Lead leave of absence processes including FMLA, ADA, parental and state specific leave
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy across multi‑state populations
  • Partner with employees and leaders; providing clear guidance and trusted advice
  • Improve processes; reduce manual work; and build scalable ways of operating
  • Manage vendors and brokers; including evaluation and renewals
  • Support broader People and HR operations initiatives
What You Bring
  • Six or more years experience managing US benefits and leave across multiple states
  • Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA and benefits compliance
  • Experience operating autonomously in fast‑moving environments
  • Confidence managing vendors and complex stakeholder groups
  • A detail‑focused, customer‑first and improvement‑driven mindset
  • International benefits experience is a bonus
