Description

Perform duties to provide administrative support to the Human Resources function within an assigned region, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice. This position is a Hybrid role based out of Plantation, Florida. Bilingual English and Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and greet candidates, assist with routine inquiries, prepare letters and mailings.
  • Assist with opening and maintaining job requisitions via HRIS software.
  • Support the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, maintaining documentation, and correspondence.
  • Process background checks and drug screenings.
  • Enter and update new hire information in HRIS.
  • Coordinate and assist with new hire orientation.
  • Create and maintain employee personnel files in accordance with policies and regulations.
  • Maintain and update I9 re-verifications and driving records as required.
  • Assist with preparing and handling new hire and termination paperwork.
  • Support HR-related special projects.
  • Skills & Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Conduct business with high standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.
    • Assist with operations to maintain workflow, notify supervision of issues, and ensure safety protocols.
    • Participate in meetings and work groups to stay informed on policies and developments.
    • Ensure safety precautions are followed.
    • Follow all policies and SOPs as instructed.
    • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
    • Strong administrative skills.
    • Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite; internet research skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information and meet deadlines under pressure.
