Fenway Hotel, Autograph Collection is seeking an experienced and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead the property's day-to-day HR operations. This role serves as a trusted partner to hotel leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement.

What you have Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of three (3) years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in hospitality, hotels, resorts, or service-focused industries.

Previous experience managing employee relations, investigations, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management required.

Experience supporting a Marriott-branded property or other branded hotel is preferred.

SHRM-CP, or PHR certification is a plus, but not required.

Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of Human Resources principles, employment law, and employee relations practices.

Demonstrated ability to conduct objective workplace investigations and manage complex employee relations matters.

Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise professional judgment.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS);
Workday experience is preferred.

Strong interviewing and talent assessment abilities.

Ability to build trust and establish productive working relationships at all levels of the organization.

Ability to work effectively in stressful, high pressure situations

Bilingual skills a plus.

What you’ll do Serve as the primary Human Resources partner for hotel leadership and associates.

Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, including coaching, performance management, corrective action, investigations, and conflict resolution.

Conduct workplace investigations and administer disciplinary actions and employment terminations in accordance with Mainsail Lodging & Development policies and applicable employment laws.

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, selecting, hiring, and onboarding new associates.

Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and implement effective recruiting strategies.

Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation, compliance training, leadership development, and other learning initiatives.

Ensure timely completion of performance evaluations and coach managers on providing meaningful performance feedback.

Interpret and consistently apply company policies, procedures, and employment practices while ensuring legal compliance.

Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Partner with corporate HR on leave administration, accommodations, benefits, compensation, and other HR initiatives.

Promotes positive employee relations through design, communication, and interpretation of human resources policies and programs.

Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain required workplace postings and records.
