IAM Solutions Engineer The OpportunityYou know that the user is the last frontier for cybersecurity. As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) specialist, you have the skills and experience to keep hackers from taking data and breaking processes. We’re looking for someone like you to help our clients meet their missions without disruption.
As an IAM Solutions Engineer at Booz Allen, you will play a critical role in the world of IAM and Zero Trust. In this role, you’ll support large‑scale IAM projects for our government clients, analyze the identity lifecycle, articulate access requirements, and define enterprise identity records. You’ll expand your IAM experience to design, deploy, and support systems that verify appropriate user privileges and manage credentials for accessing our clients’ most valuable assets—from Single Sign‑On (SSO) to privileged access systems.
You’ll implement enterprise‑class solutions and help stop adversaries in their tracks.
- 5+ years of experience in IAM engineering
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Entra , Okta, Ping Identity, or AWS IAM
- Knowledge of DoD IL2, IL4, and IL5 security frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to design, implement, and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions within secure cloud and on‑premises environments
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or Computer Science
- Experience supporting IAM in Cloud environments, including Azure or AWS
- Experience with authentication protocols, including SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect, role‑based access control (RBAC), multi‑factor authentication (MFA), and identity federation across hybrid environments
- Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Single Sign‑On (SSO)
- Experience with COTS IAM tools such as MSFT AD, MSFT ADCS, Keyfactor PKI, and RSA Tokens
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or Microsoft Certified:
Identity and Access Certification

Secret clearance is required.

Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, skills, and experience.
The projected range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ per year.

If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, possibly visiting a customer facility. - Onsite:
