Printer Field Service Technician

Canon U.S.A. is seeking a Printer Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair printers and imaging devices at customer sites. In this role, you'll diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, perform preventive maintenance, and complete firmware updates to keep devices running at peak performance. You will train end users, document service activities, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair Canon printers and multifunction devices at customer sites
• Diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues and perform timely repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and firmware updates
• Configure devices on customer networks and ensure proper functionality
• Provide user training on printer features, usage, and basic troubleshooting
• Document service activities, parts used, and resolutions in service systems
• Coordinate with technical support and parts logistics to resolve complex issues
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to Canon quality standards
