Maintenance Technician – Agora Port Richey

Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations at Agora Port Richey
. This role is responsible for ensuring the property remains safe, functional, and well‑maintained through timely repairs, preventative maintenance, and excellent customer service.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential units and common areas
- Complete work orders efficiently and accurately
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to reduce future repairs
- Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor renovations
- Maintain property grounds, including trash removal and light landscaping
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
- Communicate professionally with residents, staff, and vendors
- Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
- 1–3 years of general maintenance experience (property management preferred)
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
- HVAC certification
- Experience with apartment turnovers
- Knowledge of Florida building codes
- Full‑time position
- Occasional on‑call rotation required
