Position ObjectiveThe Managing Director will lead the commercial and logistics operations of the Miami branch, with a strong focus on growth, profitability, and strategic positioning in the market. The role will involve strengthening relationships with clients, suppliers, and carriers; consolidating internal processes; and enhancing the competitiveness of the U.S. hub by integrating sales, operations, finance, and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Define, execute, and oversee the national sales budget.
- Identify business opportunities and strengthen local market presence.
- Represent the brand at international trade shows such as Intermodal and through commercial visits to key countries (Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay).
- Build strategic relationships with carriers, airlines, clients, and logistics partners.
- Supervise the operational team (approx. 20 staff, including 5 on-site office employees and others in warehouses or remote locations).
- Manage pricing and margins across sea, air, and land freight services.
- Ensure swift and effective responses to logistics emergencies.
- Lead continuous improvement processes and foster a culture of efficiency.
