Summary

The Branch Manager will work closely with the Regional Director to develop and implement strategies that support branch initiatives, drive revenue growth, and achieve organizational goals. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for guiding and developing your branch team to ensure success at the individual, branch, and organizational levels. This role fosters a collaborative, high-performance culture grounded in empathy, accountability, and resourcefulness.

The Branch Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences, maintaining operational excellence, achieving branch performance targets, and developing relationships in the community to promote growth. By promoting team engagement, continuous improvement, and a positive culture, this leader supports daily operations and ensures consistent, high-quality service across all branch locations.

Duties & Responsibilities Branch Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop, implement, and maintain branch strategies as documented in the annual business plan.
  • Play a pivotal role in fostering and championing a positive, high‑performing culture within your branch that supports teammate engagement and contributes to making Addition Financial an exemplary workplace.
  • Monitor and enhance branch performance metrics, including Net Promoter Score (NPS), Google reviews, and member satisfaction.
  • Analyze performance data to set objectives, optimize staffing levels, and drive profitability.
  • Ensure the delivery of consistent and reliable service standards across all branch locations to uphold our brand promise and earn member trust.
  • Drive a high‑impact service culture that elevates member experience, strengthens brand loyalty, and positions the credit union as a trusted financial partner.
  • Support consultative sales efforts to deepen member relationships and meet financial needs.
  • Ensure clear communication with teammates by disseminating all updates and changes through morning huddles, follow‑ups from Branch Manager’s meetings, and Manager‑Led “We Connects.”
  • Attend monthly branch leader meetings and share pertinent information back to the team.
  • Assist Head Teller duties to include branch audits, Relationship Advisor functions, processing loans, new accounts, business lending, and successfully perform all branch duties as needed.
  • Conduct morning and afternoon huddles to include but not limited to current standing, product and services, and skills practice.
  • Manage operational expense reduction by diligently preventing fraud and minimizing losses for the credit union.
  • Continuously build and maintain knowledge to stay abreast of industry trends and standards.
  • Expected to attain branch goals in savings, lending, account relationships, transactions, profitability, and cross‑sell ratios.
  • Manage and monitor the branch’s financial performance, including profitability, cost control, and budget adherence.
Team Development & Coaching
  • Train, mentor, and coach teammates on Addition Financial's standards, service commitments, core values, and behaviors by providing ongoing daily coaching of direct reports, monthly coaching sessions, annual performance reviews, and career progression.
  • Manage Assistant Branch Manager, who supervises team members in the RA/MSR platforms and oversees all branch personnel.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and performance management for all team members and branch leadership. Responsible for team member retention and the ongoing development of team members.
