New Leaders develops transformational school leaders and advances policies and practices that ensure high academic achievement for all children—especially students from under-resourced communities.

The Director, Strategy and Revenue Operations will be based out of a home office located anywhere within the contiguous United States (Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern time zones) or United States territories that fall within the Atlantic time zone.

Position Overview

The Director, Strategy and Revenue Operations ensures the External Relations team has the infrastructure, planning systems, and operational tools required to deliver on enrollment, partnership, and fundraising goals. This role serves as the central driver of operational clarity - turning cross-functional strategies into executable plans, performance insights, and scalable systems.

This position leads quarterly planning and performance reviews, builds shared dashboards and campaign tracking tools, and ensures that systems infrastructure and documentation support team-wide alignment and continuity. The Director also oversees the team’s RFP, contract, and vendor management processes to ensure efficient and compliant execution across work streams.

This role reports to the Senior Executive Director, Strategy & Recruitment.

Responsibilities

Operationalize External Relations Strategy

  • Translate cross-functional goals into actionable project plans, timelines, and implementation systems that support execution across Marketing, Partnerships, Recruitment, and Development
  • Facilitate internal planning calendars, team meetings, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and promote continuous improvement
  • Lead quarterly performance reviews and cross-functional check-ins to monitor progress, identify gaps, and recalibrate as needed

Build and Maintain Performance Dashboards

  • Design and manage real-time dashboards and reporting tools that track funnel performance, KPIs, and ROI across revenue-generating functions
  • Partner with team leads to build shared scorecards and campaign dashboards that inform day-to-day decisions and long-term planning
  • Ensure consistent use and accurate input across data platforms including Salesforce, Hub Spot, and marketing automation tools

Streamline Contract, RFP, and Vendor Operations

  • Manage the full lifecycle of contract processing, from internal approvals through execution, in close partnership with Legal, Finance, and program teams
  • Lead the RFP and RFQ submission process across the External Relations team, including cross-functional coordination, timeline management, and packaging
  • Oversee vendor onboarding and management to ensure systems continuity, security, and performance expectations are met

Improve Systems Infrastructure and Documentation

  • Design and maintain centralized infrastructure for critical team systems, SOPs, workflows, and decision-making frameworks
  • Ensure that internal documentation is accessible, up to date, and supports knowledge transfer and scale
  • Coordinate platform improvements and manage key technology vendors in partnership with the Technology team

Advance Cross-Functional Planning and Forecasting

  • Drive scenario modeling, budget-informed planning, and forward-looking projections that guide campaign pacing, resource allocation, and team capacity planning
  • Build infrastructure that enables visibility into enrollment, fundraising, and partner pipelines—surfacing insights that improve responsiveness and execution
  • Support the CERO and other senior leaders in aligning operational levers to revenue goals
  • Partner with the Chief External Relations Officer to design and maintain systems that enable shared performance accountability across all revenue channels
