We’re looking for an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to help drive productivity and precision across our operations. In this role, you’ll set up and operate a variety of CNC machines according to blueprints and work orders, perform detailed quality inspections, and monitor production output to ensure efficiency and consistency. Using pre‑programmed software, you’ll control and optimize the movement of tools and machinery to produce high‑quality parts that meet exact specifications.

Location

We are conveniently located in Oakland, FL, 23 minutes from Orlando.

Position Responsibilities
  • Design and fabricate fixtures and work holding devices as needed.
  • Program and operate CNC mills and lathes using G‑code, Mastercam, and Solid Works with FANUC controls.
  • Set up machines by selecting, aligning, and securing fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
  • Calculate and adjust machine settings, including spindle position, cutting depth, speed, feed rates, and coolant flow.
  • Monitor machining processes and stop equipment as needed to change tools, adjust setups, or verify part dimensions against blueprints and work orders.
  • Perform in‑process and final inspections to ensure parts meet engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Accurately track jobs and part data within the SAP system.
  • Maintain compliance with all quality standards, ISO requirements, and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping expectations.
  • Prioritize and complete assignments as directed by supervisors.
  • Support team operations and perform additional duties as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience machining a wide range of materials.
  • Minimum of 2 years of CNC programming experience.
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail oriented.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Team‑oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and pride in workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience as a CNC machinist/programmer.
  • Experience with Fusion 360 CAD/CAM.
  • Familiarity with Mitsubishi controls.
  • Mastercam certification.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
