Job Overview

Prep Obsessed is a boutique retailer seeking a marketing professional to drive brand growth, customer engagement, and sales across multiple channels. The ideal candidate understands both creative and technical aspects of marketing, can execute campaigns from concept through analysis, and is comfortable building email campaigns, managing advertising audiences, reviewing analytics, and identifying growth opportunities. While this role does not primarily focus on content creation, the candidate should effectively repurpose existing content across platforms and support overall marketing strategy.

The position offers part‑time or full‑time availability based on fit.

Responsibilities
  • Email Marketing
    • Create, schedule, and optimize email marketing campaigns
    • Build and maintain email automations and customer journeys
    • Segment audiences and develop targeted marketing campaigns
    • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements
    • Write compelling email copy that aligns with the Prep Obsessed brand voice
  • Paid Advertising
    • Assist with Meta advertising strategy and execution
    • Create, test, and optimize ad campaigns
    • Build and manage custom audiences, retargeting campaigns, and lookalike audiences
    • Analyze advertising performance and provide recommendations for improvement
    • Monitor advertising budgets and campaign results
  • Content & Social Media Support
    • Use existing content and assist in creating engaging posts for Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and other platforms
    • Assist in executing Tik Tok growth initiatives through consistent posting, content repurposing, and performance monitoring
    • Repurpose existing content into multiple formats and platforms
    • Monitor trends and identify opportunities for high‑performing content and campaigns
  • Marketing Operations & Strategy
    • Coordinate marketing calendars around launches, promotions, live sales, pre‑orders, and special events
    • Maintain a cohesive brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
    • Analyze marketing performance metrics and identify growth opportunities
    • Collaborate with leadership on marketing strategy and campaign planning
    • Stay current on platform changes, marketing trends, and industry best practices
    • Assist with occasional live sale support and event marketing as needed
Qualifications
  • Required
    • Strong written communication and copywriting skills
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
    • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software platforms
    • Interest in marketing, e‑commerce, retail, and customer engagement
  • Preferred
    • Marketing experience, internships, coursework, or other relevant experience
    • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo
    • Experience with Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager
    • Experience with Shopify, Google Analytics, Canva, Cap Cut, or similar platforms
    • Experience working in retail, e‑commerce, boutique, or direct‑to‑consumer businesses
  • Ideal Candidate
