Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant for a Primary Care and Walk‑In Clinic located in Tampa, Florida to be a part of our team. You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. We are committed to delivering each patient with exceptional care and a great experience and we are seeking someone who is committed to delivering this to our patients.

  Schedule:
  
  4-5 day shifts per week.

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.

• 1 year experience as a NP or PA in family practice or urgent care.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Must have an active Florida license and DEA registration.
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations.
• Athenahealth experience (preferred).
• DOT certification (preferred).
