Job Description:

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm

Location:

Winter Garden Campus

Manages the daily surgery schedule, including room assignments, staffing, and equipment coordination.
Works with the Anesthesia Department to ensure appropriate staffing for schedule changes throughout the day.
Coordinates the care of surgical patients with ancillary departments such as ACC, PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and Cath Lab.
Collaborates closely with the scheduling department to organize the surgery schedule for the following business day.
Serves as the central contact person for surgeons, anesthesia, and associates.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory standards and infection prevention precautions.
Communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Associate's of Nursing [Required]
Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

1+ year of surgery related experience

Licenses and

Certifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
