Palmetto Care Center Nursing Facility is seeking vibrant and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our staff!

Shift details:
Part Time 7a3p and 3p-11:3pp

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Monitoring residents, their responses to treatment care plans.

• Supervising and directing.

• Document necessary information regarding nursing care, care plans and observation of resident’s overall conditions.

• Perform various duties to provide quality nursing care to residents.

• Analyzes information for appropriate interventions to prevent decline.

• Record signs of change in condition.

• Notify appropriate staff per facility protocol to evaluate weight loss, decline in ambulation, development of skin breakdown, etc.

• Administers medications and treatments to residents; monitor administration of intravenous fluids; places orders for medication.

• Maintain resident clinical files; keep charts updated; document appropriately.

• Make rounds to see each resident daily.

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• At least one year of experience in a Long-Term Care environment is highly preferred.

• Must be a graduate of an approved practical nursing program.

• Must possess and maintain a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

• Must be able to move, lift and position patients.
