Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Part Time 7a‑3p or 3p‑11:30p shifts.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Palmetto Care Center Nursing Facility is seeking vibrant and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our staff.

• Monitoring residents and their responses to treatment care plans.
• Supervising and directing staff.
• Documenting necessary information regarding nursing care, care plans, and observation of residents’ overall conditions.
• Performing various duties to provide quality nursing care to residents.
• Analyzing information for appropriate interventions to prevent decline.
• Recording signs of change in condition.
• Notifying appropriate staff per facility protocol to evaluate weight loss, decline in ambulation, development of skin breakdown, etc.
• Administering medications and treatments to residents; monitoring administration of intravenous fluids; placing orders for medication.
• Maintaining resident clinical files; keeping charts updated; documenting appropriately.
• Making rounds to see each resident daily.

• At least one year of experience in a long‑term care environment is highly preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Must be able to move, lift and position patients.
