Position Summary:The Nurse Manager is responsible for the clinical leadership and coordination of all nursing personnel. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager will assure quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process. The Nurse Manager is responsible for developing unit goals, objectives and Standards of Performance as well as develops, coordinates and implements clinical activities and staff development.

- Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management;
Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred. - Licensure:
Currently licensed to practice by the Florida State Board of Nursing - Additional Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of TJC, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. CPR certification and successful completion of training in HWC within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
