Job Description:

Gathers patient feedback through surveys, interviews, and other methods to identify areas for improvement. Analyzes data to understand patient needs and preferences. Creates plans to enhance patient experience based on data analysis. Executes improvement strategies by making necessary changes in processes, policies, and practices. Keeps all stakeholders informed about the initiatives, progress, and outcomes. Focuses on the needs and preferences of patients in all aspects of care delivery.

Other duties as assigned. Works with various stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to patient experience improvement. Explores and integrates new technologies and methodologies to improve care delivery. Continuously tracks the impact of implemented changes on patient experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrates strong communication, organization and follow-through skills, managing patient experience improvement initiatives, projects and programs. [Required]
Skilled demonstrated experience as a nurse leader driving patient experience improvement [Required]
Knowledge of clinical and nonclinical acute hospital operations and continuum of care (connected care) pre/post-acute services [Required]
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a proven track record of effectively presenting information to all levels of the organization, including senior executives [Required]
Flexibility and adaptability to change [Required]
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interface effectively with physicians, nursing, non-clinical and executive leadership [Required]
Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve effectively. [Required]
Strong consultant skillset, with the ability to influence all levels in the organization [Required]
Exhibits excellent complex analytical, and change management skills [Required]
Solid ability to analyze and evaluate business problems by defining the challenges, identifying alternatives, and making timely decisions [Required]
Strong knowledge of Patient Experience best practices, and how to best integrate with clinical care [Required]
Solid knowledge of CMS CAHPS requirements, statistical concepts, and the survey process [Required]
Expertise in effective methods of education and adult learning practices [Required]
Ability to lead, organize and work on multiple initiatives/projects without compromising work [Required]
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel [Required]
Lean or Six Sigma application knowledge [Preferred]

Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
Master's of Nursing [Preferred]
