About the RoleThe Cook prepares nutritious, high-quality meals for residents, ensuring a pleasant dining experience in compliance with dietary and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and resident preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow food safety and infection control procedures.
- Assist with special events and themed meals as needed.
- Collaborate with the Dining Services team to ensure exceptional service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; culinary training preferred.
- Experience in food service or healthcare dining environment.
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations.
- Ability to follow recipes and manage time effectively.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
