Pharmacy Tech Certified Sam's part-time

Position Summary

Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company’s products and services. Operates hardware such as cash registers or related equipment, processes member purchases, assists in payments, returns, refunds and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types. Provides pharmacy products and services to Members in accordance with Company policies and procedures, assists with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases, stocks and secures pharmacy supplies, and merchandise.

Enters prescription information or files prescriptions and completes and maintains required paperwork forms and other documentation. Receives and stocks merchandise in the pharmacy area, organizes and maintains the area by following Company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing paperwork logs. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, and collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.

Identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to change, difficulty, and feedback. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing related action plans, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
