Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What You’ll Do
  • Be a Team Member
    :
    Collaborates with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educates other associates on tools, tasks, resources and mentors new technicians, communicating and developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
  • Be an Expert
    :
    Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, and Point of Sale systems, phone and in‑person selling techniques.
  • Be a Techie
    :
    Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application and training, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
  • Be an Owner
    :
    Communicates equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead, tracks and monitors returns and special orders, operates cash registers, processes transactions, works handheld in the physical area, maintains accurate inventory, audits safety and compliance standards, reports TBC complaints, safety hazards, and problems with products, services and work areas, completes paperwork logs and other required documentation while ensuring merchandise is packaged, labeled and stored in accordance with company policies.

    :
    Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the members experience, modeling high‑quality service and products, influencing and inspiring others, maintaining a respectful, supportive and team‑oriented style, and assisting in training team members.

    :
    Completes work assignments using policies, data and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers and business partners to identify priorities, meet deadlines, and recommend improvement opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage: $20.00 to $28.00* (actual rate at or above minimum wage for the location).

Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

Qualifications
  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
  • Requires completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
  • Minimum age 18 years or older.
