Verizon Wireless Assistant Store Manager for Mobile Generation-Verizon Premium Retailer. This role supports the Store Manager in ensuring the sales team is well-versed in our selling process, Verizon Wireless products and services, and that our location meets operational standards of excellence. The ideal candidate has substantial retail experience, preferably in wireless, and excels at delivering an outstanding customer experience through effective sales processes, product knowledge, and professional handling of customer needs.

• Work side by side with the Store Manager to build a positive, customer- and goal-oriented environment.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, scheduling, and supervising a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
• Meet or exceed personal and team key performance indicators each month.
• Coach/mentor the team daily to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure the location operates under Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation guidelines.
• Assist the Store Manager in promotional activities, inventory procedures, or other duties as assigned.
• Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.

• 1+ years of experience in a similar retail role, preferably with Verizon Wireless or another wireless business.
• Proof of achievement in prior sales roles.
• Ability to lead, coach, and inspire team members.
• Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology products, and customer service.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations across the Midwest as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
