Division Project Manager

Overview

At Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), Project Managers are key to delivering successful outcomes from start to finish. Your organization, communication skills, and drive for results ensure each project meets expectations while reflecting the integrity and professionalism UDHG is known for.

Project Collaboration & Customer Interaction

• Collaborate with outside sales, operations manager, and customers to understand the project

• Solve complex issues in a timely manner
• Coordinate with operations for delivery of material to the job site
• Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications

• Document all aspects of any given project through sales orders, purchase orders, order acknowledgements, submittals, emails and/or other forms of correspondence.
• Work with suppliers and vendors for product information, lead‑times, and shipping details
• Purchase material for assigned jobs. Select vendors, negotiate best price for purchased material and have knowledge of vendor pricing

Estimating & Submittals

• Take Sales calls and receive orders
• Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
• Create submittals and transmit them to customers
• Create “take‑offs” on doors, frames, and hardware
• Create machine sheets and other design specs for frame, door, and hardware products as necessary

Miscellaneous

• Support our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years with Wood Doors, Hollow Metal Frames and Commercial Door Hardware
• DHI certification a plus
• Knowledge of contract documents
• Experience with large projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong reading comprehension
• Attention to detail
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• MS Word and Excel
• Knowledge with Specworks, Comsense, Protech or similar industry related software preferred
• Current knowledge on codes, products and design changes for doors, frames and finish hardware

Compensation

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full‑time position with competitive pay and benefits.
