The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for selling Stationary and Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) to a customer base consisting of Distributors, Independent Sales Agents and/or Dealers. They will implement strategic plans that will enable achievement of orders and sales goals, account profitability and customer satisfaction. The Regional Sales Manager will work toward achieving annual sales and margin targets, building relationships with customers and distributors and understanding market trends.
Key Responsibilities- Meet the sales revenue quota each year.
- Understand and analyze competition, trends, and costing to sell effectively and increase profitability.
- Provide Forecasts, Business Reports and Itinerary Plans monthly.
- Establish and maintain professional customer/supplier relationships.
- Follow up on quotations, oral and written sales leads, product shipments and order status as Manager requests.
- Proper coverage of assigned territory, requiring some overnight travel.
- Manage relationships with Independent Sales Reps to maximize territory coverage and profitability.
- Provide an extensive territory sales forecast, by product type, for the upcoming fiscal quarter.
- Attend trade shows to gain further industry/market knowledge and new business contacts.
- Present products at various professional associations or trade shows.
- Communicate order status to customers.
- Write clear, concise proposals and letters.
- Increase existing sales and customer leads in territory.
- Manage distribution networks.
- 2 to 3 years’ sales experience required.
- Medical device experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent required.

English. - Travel:
Domestic approximately 25% – 50% overnight travel; must be able to fly commercially. - Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Exhibit a “hunter & prospector” approach to the assigned territory.
- Unable to effectively manage other individuals i.e. distributors, dealers and independent agents.
- Possess strong business acumen for the medical equipment market.
- Must demonstrate previous successful sales achievement, excellent communication and closing skills.
