Manager, Local Multimedia Sales

Overview

The Sales department at Televisa Univision is looking for a Local Multimedia Sales Manager to join our team. The role involves leading local multimedia sales executives, guiding sales processes, and driving revenue across television, radio, and digital platforms.

• Lead local Multimedia Sales Executives to exceed goals through leadership and support.
• Guide the local sales process and revenue development on all platforms.
• Provide clear direction and assist with all sales efforts.
• Collaborate with fellow managers and departments.
• Report to the SVP, Local Media Sales.
• Hire, train, and coach Account Executives to achieve revenue and share goals.
• Define and measure Account Executive performance expectations.
• Accurately forecast revenue and meet/exceed budgets and goals for new business, digital, automotive, NTR, and market share.
• Develop client relationships (agency and direct) through frequent visibility, active sales participation, call outreach, and entertainment.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation, problem‑solving, new business development, and closing skills.
• Manage with the DOS and other sales managers, inventory, and rates to maximize station revenue and achieve/exceed revenue goals.
• Create and implement new business sales packages and presentations.
• Schedule and conduct sales meetings and sales training.
• Work with the Research department to produce materials supporting local sales efforts.
• Communicate effectively with other department managers and supervisors.

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a 4‑year college or university, or four to five years of related sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2‑4 years in sales management or 5+ years in media sales in a top‑25 market (preferred).
• Knowledge of media sales software systems such as Wide Orbit, OSI, Strata, Polk, Kantar, etc.
• Ability to prioritize and operate in a result‑oriented, rapidly changing, dynamic, fast‑paced environment requiring collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
• Action‑oriented, effective communicator with strong leadership and development skills.
• Strategic thinker who acts tactically and manages multiple projects effectively.
• Proven success in a goal‑oriented, highly accountable environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
• Conversational Spanish ability.
• Strong knowledge of the broadcast industry, internet and mobile media platforms, terminology, and analytics.
• Familiarity with local media advertising, competitive strategies, product marketing, product management, and team management.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, and skilled in project management, organization, problem solving, and time management.
