Cosmetic Sales Colleague (Beauty Advisor) is the trusted expert customers turn to for beauty, providing personalized and inspiring shopping experiences that build confidence and drive sales. You will offer expert advice, conduct product demonstrations, and provide tailored consultations that may include makeup application and skincare recommendations. Build lasting client relationships through proactive follow-up, virtual outreach, and personalized service to exceed expectations and achieve sales goals.

• Educate customers on beauty products with expert advice and product demonstrations.
• Provide tailored consultations, makeup application guidance, and skincare recommendations.
• Build and manage a loyal client base through consistent follow-up and clienteling efforts.
• Create a welcoming, personalized shopping experience by greeting customers, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and counter, and staying informed on new arrivals, top sellers, trends, and promotions.
• Engage customers with friendly conversations, establish relationships, and encourage return visits.
• Maintain a shoppable space, refresh signage and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves as needed to ensure a seamless experience.
• Promote loyalty programs, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a courteous thank-you and accurate name usage.
• Collaborate with teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities.
• Strive for excellence, take pride in work, and contribute to sales goals and store results.

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular, dependable attendance.
• Effective communication with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in English.
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English.
• Ability to deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on benefits and use of beauty products.
• Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized and shoppable space, leveraging clienteling tools, participating in events, and staying current through training and vendor education.
• Meet or surpass daily sales goals through exceptional service.
• Ability to acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required.

• Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
• Standing for extended periods, lifting at least 25 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching above eye level.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and technology, including handheld devices and cash register operations.
