Security Guard

Position: Security Guard (Full-Time)
Larkin Community Hospital is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining a safe, secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. We are seeking a reliable and proactive Security Guard to join our team and help ensure the safety and security of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to detect and respond to suspicious activity.

* Conduct regular patrols of the hospital grounds, including parking areas and entrances.

* Respond to alarms, security breaches, and emergency situations promptly and effectively.

* Assist hospital staff, patients, and visitors with safety-related concerns and provide directions as needed.

* Enforce hospital policies and procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment.

* Report and document incidents, including writing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records.

* Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.

Job Requirements:

* Security Training or Certification.

* Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is highly desirable.

* Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

* Physical stamina to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and handle physical tasks.

* Basic knowledge of hospital protocols and emergency procedures is a plus.

* Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.

Work Schedule:

Morning Shift 6:30AM-3:00PM
