As a Security Officer After Hours Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail location, helping to maintain a welcoming environment for guests, shoppers, and staff.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic patterns to support site rules, assist with directional needs, and report suspicious behavior or policy concerns.
• Assist with closing activities, crowd and/or line observation, and customer‑facing interactions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
