Maintenance Technician

Eland Engineering, a GAI Consultants company, is a Florida‑based Engineering and Maintenance Services firm. We are looking for two full‑time ITS Technicians to perform a variety of tasks in central Florida.

• Familiar with ITS field devices such as DMS, CCTV, MVDS, fiber optic and power systems.
• Install equipment including cameras, detectors and controller cabinets.
• Install electrical conductor, data conductor, and fiber optic cable.
• Install pull boxes, conduit, poles and foundations.
• Connect conductors to equipment to make equipment work correctly.
• Connect electrical conductors to power services to energize equipment.
• Test devices to ensure they work correctly.
• Prepare logs to keep track of field conditions and installation activities.

• 2–4 years of related experience.

• Basic computer and networking skills.

• MOT Certification.
• Fiber optic fusion splicing and troubleshooting.

• High school diploma from an accredited high school. Technical coursework in a related field is preferred.

• ITS Maintenance Supervisor.

• Oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
