Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Service Electrician is responsible for maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Specific Duties & Tasks- Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Review electrical blueprints to identify wiring circuits.
- Inspects electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers.
- Coordinates with team members to install light fixtures and other items.
- Uses a variety of industry-specific tools to perform their tasks, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers.
- Identifies electrical wires accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and truck.
- Maintain accurate invoices, records, and notes.
- 3-5 years min. experience in electrical service and troubleshooting.
- Obtaining a FL Journeyman electrician license is a plus.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the trade.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
- Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Available to work on-call and respond immediately to electrical emergencies.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company‑owned vehicle.
- Eligible to legally work in the United States.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
