Air Conditioning Maintenance Technician at Vacation Village at Weston | Keep Our Resort Comfortable Year-Round!

We’re currently seeking an Air Conditioning Maintenance Technician to support our resort’s HVAC, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining guest comfort, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across the property.

Pay rate: $26/hr
What You’ll Do:- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair resort HVAC, refrigeration, and ventilation systems
- Perform routine and advanced preventative maintenance on chillers, boilers, pumps, air handlers, and control systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical components, control circuits, thermostats, motors, actuators, and valves
- Recover, handle, and dispose of refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations
- Ensure all work meets OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local codes
- Respond promptly to service requests and work orders to minimize guest impact
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inventory records, and required documentation
- Identify and source parts needed for equipment repairs or replacements
- Monitor and coordinate work performed by outside contractors and vendors
- Support other maintenance team members and assist with special projects as needed
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships with guests, vendors, and team members
- High School Diploma or GED required
- HVAC certification required
- 2+ years of HVAC experience in hotel, resort, multifamily, or healthcare environments preferred
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, refrigeration, and appliances
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
