Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with gas lines, meters, regulators, and related equipment.
• Test and verify the integrity of gas systems, ensuring proper operation and safety standards.
• Document service activities accurately and maintain detailed records of work performed.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers regarding service procedures and safety precautions.
• Assist in training junior technicians and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Gas Service Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of gas systems and safety protocols.
• Valid gas technician license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Knowledge of gas codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2–5 years of experience in gas utility, HVAC, plumbing, or related field
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Working knowledge of gas distribution systems and service procedures
• Ability to work independently and make sound safety decisions in the field

Compensation: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
