Job Description
- Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
- Sorts and organizes freight
- Operates various types of material handling equipment
- Sorts, repacks, and labels freight
- Identifies unusable pallets
- Can read, count, and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
- Removes items from sorting bins, scans, and places onto conveyor belt
- Removes items from packing bins, scans using RF Scanner for accuracy, produces packing list, and bags items
- Operates warehouse machinery in accordance with customer SOPs (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
- Maintains work area in a clean and hazard‑free condition
$14.00 – $28.00 per hour
Pay ScaleBased on productivity
Job Requirements- 6 months warehouse experience (preferred; training available)
- Works in a physically demanding environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
- Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack)
- Meets fast‑paced productivity goals and standards
- Excellent customer service required
- Overtime/weekends required during peak/seasonal volumes
- Can work in various climate conditions (potentially cooler/freezers)
- Has reliable transportation and arrives on time
- Stands/climbs 8–10 hours per day
- Effective communication skills
- Safety shoes required
- Passes pre‑employment drug screen and background check
- Other duties as assigned
