Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate plays a critical, hands‑on role in the day‑to‑day operations of our warehouse. This individual is responsible for supporting all inbound and outbound functions, including receiving, inventory control, order preparation, shipping, restocking, and warehouse organization.
While this position does not require delivery driving unless previously qualified and trained, the associate is expected to collaborate closely with delivery drivers, warehouse leads, and technical consultants to ensure a smooth, efficient, and customer‑focused fulfillment process.
This role ensures the WOW experience promised by IGT, upholding our standards of accuracy, safety, timeliness, and professional service.
Key Responsibilities Inbound & Receiving Operations- Unload and inspect incoming deliveries from vendors or transfers.
- Verify goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Record receipt of inventory into warehouse management systems.
- Communicate any shortages, damages, or mislabeling promptly.
- Accurately pick, pack, label, and stage orders for pick‑up or delivery.
- Wrap and secure merchandise in compliance with product handling protocols.
- Load vehicles with correct materials, supporting drivers as needed.
- Prepare and track shipments using UPS, Fed Ex, and other carriers.
- Handle returns and restocks in line with IGT’s policies.
- Participate in daily cycle counts and monthly audits.
- Maintain correct stock levels at bin locations and replenish as needed.
- Support investigations and resolution of inventory variances.
- Ensure product locations are properly labeled and organized.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free warehouse space.
- Follow housekeeping checklists and protocols.
- Identify and report safety hazards or incidents immediately.
- Assist with rack labeling, floor markings, and visual inventory cues.
- Work with sales and technical teams to ensure orders are prepared on time and to spec.
- Provide order status updates to the front desk or supervisors when requested.
- Maintain professional, courteous behavior when interacting with team members and visitors.
- Operate company vehicles to transport materials and deliver goods as required.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. (Requires Certification)
- Perform pre‑trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. (or equivalent work experience).
- Forklift and warehouse equipment operation experience preferred, OSHA certification a plus.
- Proven experience as a warehouse systems
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data‑driven insights to optimize warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
- Ability to lift to 80 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
Working in the warehouse at IGT Glass Hardware entails physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. Employees may also need to bend, stoop, reach, and operate equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks.
