Reach Forklift Operator
The Reach Forklift Operator safely operates a stand-up reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve pallets within a warehouse environment. This role supports key warehouse functions including put-away, replenishment, order picking, shipping, and receiving while maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a stand-up reach truck safely and efficiently in a warehouse setting.
- Move, stack, and retrieve pallets from warehouse racking systems at various heights.
- Load and unload trucks as needed to support shipping and receiving activities.
- Perform put-away, replenishment, and order-picking tasks according to work orders and inventory needs.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and update inventory movements and product locations.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections on the reach truck and related equipment, and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure products are stored in the correct locations.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations as required.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support efficient and safe workflow.
Essential
Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating a stand-up reach truck.
- Proficient in operating forklifts, particularly reach trucks, in a warehouse environment.
- Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking and order selection.
- Experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity goals.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory and order fulfillment.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Experience with replenishment, inventory management, and order selecting processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic inventory systems.
- Comfort working in an open bay warehouse environment.
- Willingness to work evening and overnight hours on a 2nd shift schedule.

Work Environment:
This role is based in an open bay warehouse environment with racking systems and active material handling operations. The position follows a 2nd shift schedule from approximately 6:00 p.m. until finish, which may extend up to 6:00 a.m., depending on workload and operational needs. Work involves regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and operating reach trucks and RF scanners in a fast-paced setting where adherence to safety procedures and organization standards is essential.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
