Emergency Room Nurse

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to provide high-quality care in a busy Level III Trauma Center. The role involves managing acutely ill patients in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with all safety and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon arrival, providing timely and effective interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and support staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the Epic EMR system.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to changes.
• Educate patients and family members on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure with no restrictions.
• A minimum of 4 years' experience in an Emergency Department or Level I-III trauma center.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required.
• Proven ability to handle high-acuity cases with competence and professionalism.
• Strong triage, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
