Description

We are looking to hire a friendly, energetic, and helpful person to work in our deli department. A successful candidate will need to learn food safety and proper food preparation techniques. This position teaches creative presentations of prepared foods as well as learning to prepare and cook menu items. Employees will learn slicing, cutting, weighing, packaging, and pricing of merchandise according to store standards.

Strong customer service skills along with multitasking are essential.

• Learn food safety and proper food preparation techniques in the deli department.
• Learn slicing, cutting, weighing, packaging, and pricing of merchandise according to store standards.
• Provide strong customer service and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Stand for up to an 8-hour shift.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible scheduling with availability for afternoon shifts and weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
• Part-time position in a deli/retail grocery environment with a focus on customer service.

• Starting wage - $15.63
