Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule Details- Hourly pay range: $16.00–$18.00, depending on skills and experience.
- Paid training through live instruction and virtual classroom sessions.

- Position is part‑time with a variable schedule.
- Average weekly hours: 7–10 per week.
- Availability required before and after major holidays (may include weekends).
- Availability required to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products using a mobile device. Maintain accurate reports, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers.
- Holiday support: Provide added support during peak seasonal periods, including extended hours and on‑holiday work (Valentine’s, Mother’s, Father’s, etc.).
- Department resets: Assist with installations, fixture relocations, and card section resets. Advance notice of two weeks typically provided; assignments may require evenings or weekends.
- Team collaboration: Support fellow merchandisers across territories when needed.
The role is physically demanding. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and 50 pounds occasionally. Regular kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, stair climbing, and ladder use are required.
Basic Qualifications- Minimum age 18.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to operate a digital handheld device for reading documents and interpreting information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and the Internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores on schedule.
