Merchandiser​/Cashier

Job Overview

We are looking for a Merchandiser/Cashier to greet customers on the sales floor, direct them to merchandise or parts specialists, check out customers, deter shoplifters, and maintain the store front area.

• Greet customers and direct them to the appropriate product or parts specialist.
• Check out customers purchasing front‑floor merchandise quickly and friendly.
• Handle merchandise returns in an efficient manner.
• Keep the front area stocked, fronted, clean, and have full displays on a daily basis.
• Create display changes according to company guidelines and planograms.
• Make all out‑front price changes and ensure all sale signs and sale flyer racks are stocked.
• Remove all sale material when a sale ends and restore original pricing.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Work with the manager to complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
• Act as the main shop‑lifting deterrent / front‑floor security.
• Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
• Clock in and out according to company policy.
• Assist with the express lane when it is busy or not being utilized.

• Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
• Good interpersonal, communicational, and organizational skills.
• Previous cashier and/or stocking experience is desired.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages;
  Spanish is highly desired.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Pay Range: $11.41 – $20.30 per hour. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
