Hickory Hills Country Club has been serving golfers for over 100 years. We are seeking a professional line cook to prepare food according to specifications and set up stations for the menu. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with experience in restaurant and banquet kitchens. The candidate may have the opportunity to earn a full-time position based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen team
• Follow management instructions and report as needed
• Clean and maintain the station, handle leftover food appropriately
• Manage inventory effectively
• Ensure timely, high-quality food output
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers

• Proven cooking experience, including roles as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Accuracy and efficiency in task execution
• Knowledge of industry best practices

• Cooking experience: 1 year (preferred)

• Sous Chef experience: 1 year (preferred)
