Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina, is a 355-bed acute care hospital and 81-bed behavioral health facility. The medical center employs more than 1500 professional and clinical staff and provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient services to meet community needs.
Under the general supervision of the Market Director, the Administrative Assistant provides skilled secretarial and administrative support to the administrative team and other departments throughout the hospital. The work is of a high-confidential nature.
- Serves as a receptionist for the administrative team
- Answers and screens telephone calls, transfers, takes messages or personally handles callers’ needs
- Pleasantly greets visitors, ascertaining and addressing their needs promptly and appropriately
- Schedules appointments and ensures prompt and accurate relay of verbal messages to appropriate parties
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. At least five years of secretarial/clerical experience required.
