Scheduling Coordinator

Our Trinity Village community in Hickory, NC, is seeking a Full-Time Scheduling Coordinator to help ensure consistent, adequate staffing throughout the facility. This position is scheduled for 32–40 hours per week and offers the opportunity to support residents in a senior living community while contributing to the mission of Lutheran Services Carolinas.

Position Details
  • Pay:
    Pay range will be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain master nursing staff schedules for all shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and Baylor shifts.
  • Coordinate coverage for call-outs and open positions by working with employees, PRN/on-call teammates, and the Trinity Support Team.
  • Maintain updated contact lists for nursing team members and emergency contacts.
  • Manage scheduling systems, support onboarding and orientation, and complete related administrative tasks.
  • Monitor attendance, assist with disciplinary documentation as needed, and maintain teammate files.
  • Track certifications and license renewals as needed, and prepare daily staffing reports.
  • Order nursing supplies and help uphold facility safety standards.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • North Carolina CNA certification required.
  • Experience with staff scheduling and coordination preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to move throughout the facility, bend and reach as needed, and sit at a computer for extended periods.
