We are looking for a dependable Service Lane Porter who takes pride in staying organized, helping the team, and maintaining a professional service drive.

Cloninger Ford is seeking an Automotive Service Lane Porter to support daily service department operations. This role focuses on vehicle movement, customer assistance, and maintaining a clean, safe service lane environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced dealership setting.

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

• Full time
• Day shift
• Monday through Saturday (Half day on Saturday)

• Ability to commute to Cloninger Ford in Hickory, NC
• In person, on site position
• Valid driver’s license required

• Move customer vehicles to and from the service drive, shop, and parking areas
• Greet customers and assist service advisors as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lane and customer waiting areas
• Perform vehicle shuttling and light driving tasks
• Assist with keeping keys and vehicles organized
• Follow dealership safety policies and procedures
• Support technicians and service advisors with daily tasks

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
