Role Description

The Services, Maintenance, and Reliability Sales role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in the Hickory–Lenoir–Morganton–Marion area. This role focuses on selling services related to industrial automation maintenance, reliability improvements, and support contracts to new and existing clients. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include identifying prospects, conducting site visits, understanding customer operational challenges, and proposing service solutions that enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

The role involves preparing quotes and proposals, collaborating with engineering and service teams to scope work, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction and long‑term relationships. The individual in this position will also track sales activities in CRM tools, participate in account reviews, and contribute feedback to improve service offerings and processes.

Qualifications
  • Strong customer‑focused Sales skills with proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear presentation, active listening, and professional written correspondence.
  • Customer Service skills that support building trust, managing expectations, and resolving issues in a timely, respectful manner.
  • Analytical Skills to assess customer operations, interpret reliability and maintenance data, and identify service opportunities.
  • Basic Finance understanding to develop pricing strategies, interpret margins, and discuss service value and ROI with customers.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation, controls, or maintenance services (experience in a technical or engineering‑driven environment is highly beneficial).
  • Ability to work on‑site, travel within the Hickory–Lenoir–Morganton–Marion area, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and standard business communication platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, ethical business practices, and inclusive, nondiscriminatory workplace conduct.
