JOB PURPOSE:Analyze carrier freight bills for rating accuracy along with processing weekly customer invoicing for assigned accounts. Communicate with multiple departments to increase the accuracy of automated processes. Foster a culture centered on quality work, team, and individual personal and professional success while maintaining the highest standards of conduct and ethics. Applicant must be a detailed oriented, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
CRITICALJOB FUNCTIONS:
Freight Bill Analysis:
- Review weekly freight bills for assigned clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with freight bills in an “audit” status
- Communicate directly with carrier personnel on carrier issues
- Process weekly/monthly invoices to customers
- Communicate directly with customers for customer issues
- Make customer satisfaction the primary "driver" for successful quality processes with internal and external teams
- Ensure issues are addressed immediately and appropriate parties are informed for on-time and proper resolution
- Provide client feedback to the organization
- Coordinate with other company departments where processes touch those groups
- Develop a working understanding of the internal technologies required for daily functions
- Continuously seek out opportunities to improve current processes
- Other duties as assigned
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Ability to effectively present information to clients and management
- Ability to apply business and accounting mathematics
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to understand and act upon verbal and written instructions
- Qualified applicants will have a BS/BA degree in business or equivalent experience
- Basic freight rate knowledge; a high level of ability with spreadsheets and other analytical tools, and a strong desire to succeed
