Project Executive

Up to $200,000 DOE + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

We're partnering with a well-established General Contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects throughout the Carolinas. Due to continued growth and a strong secured backlog, they're looking to appoint an experienced Project Executive to join their Hickory, NC office.

The company is actively delivering and preparing to break ground on multiple multifamily, mixed-use, student housing, senior living, healthcare, industrial and commercial projects, providing excellent long-term career prospects and stability.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading projects from preconstruction through closeout while mentoring project teams, maintaining client relationships and driving successful project delivery.

• Lead construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts and financial reporting
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, contract administration and change management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, consultants and subcontractors
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, procurement activities and project documentation
• Work closely with Superintendents to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
• Drive project profitability while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction
• Support business development through strong client relationships and repeat business opportunities

• 8+ years' project management experience with a General Contractor
• Proven track record delivering ground‑up construction projects from preconstruction through closeout

Experience with in one or more of the following sectors:

• Mixed-Use
• Student Housing
• Senior Living
• Commercial
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement and contract administration
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline preferred

• Competitive base salary up to $200,000 DOE
