Smile Starters is a general dental practice serving children and young adults ages 1-21. We are dedicated to educating our patients on best practices for lifelong oral health. Job Duties / Responsibilities- Review medical histories with patients or their parent/guardian
- Take dental x-rays as appropriate
- Perform teeth scaling and polishing
- Write chart notes and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Assist dentists with charting during exams
- Obtain parent/guardian consent for sealants and other procedures
- Present treatment plans to parents/guardians and obtain consent for procedures
- Write referrals and facilitate correspondence with dental colleagues as directed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support the dental team with other duties as assigned
- Enjoys teamwork (our hygienists work closely with dedicated DA II's to assist young patients)
- Enjoys working with children and creating positive dental experiences

- NC Dental Hygienist License
