We are seeking a passionate, student‑centered school teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment that supports students’ intellectual, social, and emotional development in grades Pre‑K to 5. The role requires strong classroom management skills, subject‑matter expertise, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.

• Must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina teaching license.

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials, providing effective teaching strategies.
• Maintain effective classroom management and address learning and behavior issues.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Evaluate student accomplishments regularly using multiple assessment methods and provide progress reports.
• Communicate promptly with parents and maintain constructive communication with students, staff, and the community.
• Protect students, materials, and facilities by taking appropriate precautions.
• Uphold board policy, district goals, and school rules.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.
• Maintain appropriate work habits, including regular attendance and use of planning time.
• Stay current on subject matter knowledge and learning theory; attend workshops, PLCs, and department sessions as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an approved education program; alternative pathways for vocational or technical areas.
• Strong background in North Carolina Standard Course of Study and Essential Standards.
